It is also an unofficial heritage site whose pinnacle houses the historic Gunrock Cantonment and a centuries-old water tank that supplied water to the area. There is a stairway plus a steep stony path along the boulders to the top of the hill. Named as Venkateshwara Gutta (hill) due to the presence of an ancient Venkateshwara Swamy temple on the summit of the hill, the trek to the hillock encountering the birds, rock formations, little ponds, and green hills is a sight to the eyes! A green rocky path turns even greener, rockier and steeper after crossing a reservoir! Once you reach the top, visit the temple and spend a peaceful morning/ evening hearing the music composed by temple bells and birds.
3.Ananthagiri Hills, Vikarabad:
Ananthagiri Hills is a place for adventure, religious, and nature tourism. Also, the 400-year old Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple on the hilltop is a popular holy site.
