Technology has made our lives simple. The aviation industry has also started using the latest technologies like metaverse, artificial intelligence or blockchain technology. These are not just redefining the way you travel but are also contributing towards the goal of net zero carbon emissions. Taking Emirates check in process to another level, the airline has revealed the world’s first robotic check-in assistant.

This innovative portable robotic check-in system is named Sara and is available at Emirates recently launched City Check in and Travel Store in Dubai. So, if you are traveling through international flights via Dubai, you can take a first-hand experience of this new launch.

The world’s first ever robotic check-in assistant will match your facial features with scanned passports, check you in and can even help you navigate towards the luggage drop area.

How does world’s 1st robotic check-in assistant work?

Scan your passport and verify your contact and travel details. You can then choose from a range of options offered to purchase, like luggage. After checking-in, the robotic assistant will print your boarding pass along with the bag tags. It will later also help you reach the baggage drop area.

Emirates, one of the world’s safest airlines is known to provide its passengers excellent facilities and customer service. Modernizing its offerings, the airline also launched NFTs and immersive metaverse experiences for its customers and employees last year.
