LAX Airport has 9 terminals, numbered 1 to 8 and the ninth one (Terminal B) is called Tom Bradley International. All terminals extend out of a U-shaped design and are interconnected by a two-level roadway. Certain terminals are linked by walkways and airside connections also. Terminal 1 

Gates: 9 to 18 B

As terminal 1 at Los Angeles International Airport is not directly connected to other terminals, you need to clear security to reach a different terminal. You can take the airport shuttle for transportation between Terminal 1 and others.

Delta Airlines has recently opened nine new gates at Terminal 3 of LAX Airport. Passengers can take the escalator facility just a few steps from the new gates to arrive at the baggage claim area in no time. 

The airline, as part of its expansion project (expected to be completed in 2023), looks forward to consolidating the second and third terminals into a single complex with a total of 27 gates for its passengers. Apart from improving its gates, Delta also plans to introduce the Delta One check-in area (for first international class ticket holders) by Spring 2023 and a 10,000-square-foot Delta One Club in 2024.
