Emirates Airbus A350-900 Cabin Upgrades
Emirates plans to introduce a new three-class seating configuration for its Airbus A350-900 widebody aircraft in the fourth quarter of 2025. Although the carrier already has a three-class configuration on its A350, the new upgrade will feature more premium economy seats, likely to provide more passenger comfort.
The New Emirates Airlines cabin configuration for its twin-aisle Airbus A350-900 aircraft, 359U, will have a total of 298 seats, including 32 business class seats, 28 premium economy seats, and 238 economy class seats.
Routes for Emirates Airbus A350-900
Initially, Emirates will use the first Airbus A350-900 aircraft with this new configuration in short-haul flights. The initial route will be from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Bahrain (BAH), operating daily as of October 25, 2025. A couple of weeks later, from December 2, 2025, the airline will implement the aircraft on Dubai-Mumbai (BOM) routes. These routes will enable Emirates to test the new seating arrangement before implementing it on long-haul flights. By expanding premium economy on the A350-900, Emirates aims to provide more travelers with this option while maintaining its reputation for premium service.
