It is one of the famous temples in Telangana dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped here in the form of Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy. According to Hindu scriptures, the temple is installed by Rishi Markandeya in Dwapara Yuga. However, the construction of the main temple was commissioned some 400 years ago by Nizam Nawab, and this temple stands as a symbol of religious harmony.

Kayaking the Nagasamudram Lake:

Located at a distance of around 15-20 km from the Ananthagiri hills, Nagasamundram Lake or Kotipally reservoir is a soothing spot perfect for spending some ‘me-time’ amid nature.
