Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) is looking to transfer nearly half of domestic traffic movements from Terminal 1 to T2, because the domestic T1 is scheduled to undergo redevelopment in January 2027. Reportedly, MIAL held a meeting with major airlines and asked them to shift at least one-third of their BOM flights to Navi Mumbai International Airport.
