For its First and Business Class travelers, Qatar Airways (QA) launched the Premium Terminal in the year 2006 at the Doha International Airport. The 10,000 square meter terminal was constructed at a cost of US $90 million over a span of 9 months. The facilities include check-in, play areas, duty-free shopping, sauna, Jacuzzi, spa treatments, restaurants, and conference rooms. The seating capacity in the posh business class lounge has been increased by a whopping 80 percent.
For Premium passengers of Qatar Airways (QR), the Al Mourjan Business Lounge was opened in the year 2014. The impressive lounge is the size of approximately 10 Olympic swimming pools put together. The access to this awesome lounge is only for passengers of Qatar Airways and one world first and business class.
The latest Premium Lounge opened by Qatar Airways (QR) was in January at Charles de Gaulle Airport. This is the airline’s second international lounge with the first one being in London’s Heathrow Airport.
