Delta Airlines ensures customer satisfaction by not only enhancing its connectivity but upgrading its services as well. From exceptional inflight experiences to the world-class Delta Sky Clubs, the airline leaves no stone unturned in delighting its passengers. In 2023, Business Traveler USA recognized the LAX Club as the best airline lounge in North America, while Architectural Digest featured it among the world’s top nine airport lounges. Delta Sky Club was also named the best lounge network for memberships by AFAR. Now to further make the airport experience comfortable, a premium Delta Airlines lounge at JFK, LAX and BOS airport is likely in 2024.

Notably, Delta Sky Club network had a significant enhancement last year as it added five news clubs. In 2024, Delta aims to introduce a premium lounge experience at JFK Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, and BOS Airport. This will set a new standard for the airline’s service and hospitality.

Premium Lounges at JFK, LAX, and BOS

JFK will host the first premium lounge. The sprawling 38,000 sq ft space will feature wellness areas, a chef-assisted market, a full-service brasserie, and more. Likely to open in June this year, it will become the largest Delta Airlines lounge.

The LAX Premium Lounge is expected to make travel more comfortable. Bringing the premium experience to the West Coast, LAX will see the opening of a 10,000+ sq ft premium lounge. This will include an exclusive outdoor terrace and will likely open at the end of 2024.

The BOS-E Premium Lounge is also expected to open by the end of this year. The new 6,300 sq ft premium lounge at Boston Logan International Airport will seat 120 customers. This will also be connected to the BOS-E Delta Sky Club, which was recently launched. Embracing the uniqueness of each city, no two premium lounges will be identical. This is to ensure a highly personalized and dedicated level of service for premium lounge guests.

Delta Airlines Lounge Expansion Plans

Delta is adding 2,700 seats to its network and is set to open five new lounges in 2024. Terminal C Club at LaGuardia Airport will expand, adding a Sky Deck and over 100 seats. This is expected in early summer 2024. The Club at Miami International Airport will exceed 12,000 sq ft with seating for 320 guests by Q2 2024. Delta Sky Club will open its first-ever location in Charlotte by the end of 2024. It will offer seating for over 250 people and measure nearly 15,000 sq ft. A new 21,000+ sq ft Club will also open at terminal A of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by Q4 2024.

Delta Airlines Cabins Set for a Revamp

Delta Air Lines is further enhancing passenger experience by introducing a refreshed look to some of its aircraft cabins. Delta is introducing its newest First-Class seat on Boeing 737-800 aircraft, building on the success of its debut on the Airbus A321neo in 2022. The upgraded seat on Delta flights boasts increased storage and a more robust tray table. This will contribute to a more comfortable and functional in-flight experience.

Select Boeing 737-800 aircraft will see a refresh in Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin seats. It will feature a notable addition—a new 10-inch Panasonic seatback screen. Embracing touchless features in bathrooms further aligning with Delta’s commitment to passenger well-being and modern conveniences.
