JetBlue is giving Mosaic members more ways to enjoy premium cabins. The airline has renamed its Move to Mint certificates as Premium Upgrade Certificates. Members can use these certificates for a confirmed upgrade to Mint or BlueFirst, subject to availability, fare restrictions, and the airline’s rules.
Starting February 1, 2027, Mosaic 2 members can select a Premium Upgrade Certificate through the Perks You Pick program. Mosaic 3 and Mosaic 4 members will continue receiving these certificates as part of their Mosaic Signature Perks.
The number of certificates required for an upgrade varies by cabin and flight distance, according to JetBlue’s published rules. Premium Upgrade Certificates cannot be used with Main Base or EvenMore Base fares.
This change gives frequent flyers more flexibility when choosing premium seats for their trips. Members should check the certificate requirements and availability before booking or redeeming their rewards.
More Rewards for JetBlue Mosaic 3 and Mosaic 4 Members
JetBlue is offering more rewards to passengers with higher Mosaic status. Members can choose benefits from the options available at their eligible milestones.
Mosaic 3 members can choose 20,000 bonus TrueBlue points, while Mosaic 4 members can select 30,000 bonus TrueBlue points through the Perks You Pick program.
Mosaic 4 members can also choose to gift Mosaic 3 status or a one-year BlueHouse lounge membership to another eligible TrueBlue member. These options let members earn extra points, access additional travel benefits, or share eligible rewards with others.
JetBlue’s updated Mosaic benefits also include Tile Bonus options. Depending on the status level and available menu, members can choose a bonus toward their current qualification year or a Tile Bonus Headstart for the next qualification year.
Members should review the available options at each milestone because benefits differ by Mosaic level.
JetBlue Premier Cardmembers Will Get More Benefits
JetBlue is also adding new benefits for Premier Cardmembers in 2027. Eligible cardholders can get complimentary, space-available BlueFirst upgrades even if they don’t have Mosaic status.
Those without Mosaic status must use their JetBlue Premier Card to pay for the base fare of an eligible flight to qualify for the upgrade. Upgrades depend on available seats and the applicable eligibility rules. Authorized users are also subject to JetBlue’s terms.
Premier Cardmembers with Mosaic 3 or Mosaic 4 status can also earn a total of 5X TrueBlue points for every dollar spent on eligible restaurant and grocery purchases. This includes the regular 2X points earned through the card and an extra 3X points on up to $50,000 in combined eligible restaurant and grocery purchases each calendar year.
There are also new benefits for those who travel with a companion. Eligible primary Premier Cardmembers with Mosaic 3 status can choose a companion travel statement credit of up to $500. Those with Mosaic 4 status can choose a companion travel statement credit of up to $1,500.
These credits apply to eligible companion base fares paid for with the Premier Card, subject to JetBlue’s terms. Taxes, fees, ancillary charges, fare differences, and other charges remain the cardmember’s responsibility.
For travelers who fly regularly or use their Premier Card for everyday spending, these updates offer more ways to earn and use rewards.
When Will JetBlue’s New TrueBlue Benefits Start?
Most of the new JetBlue TrueBlue benefits for 2027 will begin on February 1, 2027. These include updated Perks You Pick options, the ability to select previously chosen perks again, and new Mosaic Signature Perks.
Complimentary space-available BlueFirst upgrades will start when JetBlue introduces its first aircraft featuring the new first-class cabin. Premium Upgrade Certificates can already be redeemed toward eligible Mint or BlueFirst upgrades when available.
JetBlue will also retire certain existing Perks You Pick options after January 31, 2027. Members can still select and use those benefits through that date. The retired options include Mint Suite Priority, the $99 statement credit with select JetBlue credit cards, FoundersCard membership, IHG status, and the pet-fee waiver. The pet-fee waiver will become a Mosaic Signature Perk starting at Mosaic 2.
Members should check JetBlue’s official website to learn about the updated benefits and see which rewards are available to them.
What Do JetBlue’s 2027 Loyalty Changes Mean for Travelers?
If you fly with JetBlue regularly, these changes could make your trips more rewarding. Mosaic members will have more chances to enjoy BlueFirst seats through complimentary, space-available upgrades. Those with higher Mosaic status can also choose additional points, upgrades, and other travel benefits.
JetBlue Premier Cardmembers will have more opportunities to earn points and use their rewards. Passengers who often travel with family or friends may find the companion upgrades and travel credits especially useful.
However, not everyone will qualify for every benefit. Some rewards depend on your Mosaic status, ticket type, eligible cardholder status, and available seats. Before booking your next JetBlue flight, check your TrueBlue account to find out which benefits you can use.
JetBlue’s TrueBlue updates for 2027 bring more benefits for loyal passengers. With complimentary, space-available BlueFirst upgrades, enhanced Mosaic rewards, and new Premier Card perks, eligible travelers will have more ways to earn points and enjoy a comfortable journey.
