- Tour Escort Visitor Visa
- Visiting Media Visitor Visa
- Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa

How Will Immigration Online Help Applicants?
Applicants can upload their documents online and receive updates on their application status. The system offers guidance based on each applicant’s situation. This can help applicants complete forms correctly and may reduce document errors or delays.
What Happens to Paper Visa Applications?
Immigration New Zealand will process paper applications submitted before October 1, 2026, as usual. Applicants do not need to take further action if they already submitted a valid paper application before the deadline. After the deadline, INZ will consider paper applications for these visas only in special cases. Applicants who cannot apply online should contact Immigration New Zealand to discuss their situation.
Which Visitor Visas Are Not Included?
The current change does not cover every visitor visa category. Paper applications will remain available for some visas, including those for partners and children of military personnel, students, workers, and New Zealand citizens. Temporary Retirement Visitor Visas, Trafficking Child Victim Visitor Visas, and Refugee Claimant Visitor Visas are also not part of this update. INZ will keep accepting paper forms for the excluded visa categories until it announces further changes.
