Emirates unveiled its first Airbus A350-900 in Dubai, marking a key milestone in its journey. The event was led by Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, and UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri. Emirates raises the bar with the A350, seating 312 passengers in ultimate comfort. Business Class provides 32 lie-flat seats for premium relaxation, Premium Economy offers 21 refined seats with extra comfort, and Economy features 259 spacious seats ensuring a pleasant flight. Every element has been carefully engineered for passenger satisfaction.
Emirates’ Step into Strategic Growth
Emirates adds the A350, its first new aircraft since 2008, to drive future ambitions. Its advanced design allows Emirates to extend its network to mid-sized airports, creating connections to cities beyond its traditional scope.

A350 to Connect Dubai with Global Cities in 2025
The A350 is versatile, designed for both regional and 15-hour ultra-long-haul flights. The aircraft’s debut flight is scheduled for January 3, 2025, linking Dubai with Edinburgh. Soon after, the aircraft will begin serving prominent locations such as Bahrain, Muscat, and Kuwait in the GCC region; Lyon and Bologna in Europe; and Colombo, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad in South Asia. Additional destinations within a 15-hour radius from Dubai are expected to be revealed later in 2025.
