Emirates and Shell Aviation Partner for Sustainable Aviation Fuel

This will be the first time SAF will be supplied through the Dubai airport fueling system. The first part of the delivery is expected to be before the end of 2023. This agreement is a part of Emirates environmental strategy with three focus areas; emission reduction, responsible consumption and conservation of wildlife and habitats. The delivery of sustainable aviation fuel will be tracked through Avelia (one of the first blockchain-powered SAF solutions in the world).
