A New Era for Indian Aviation – 80 New Airports Likely in 5 Years

Incredible India has seen numerous innovations and developments in the past two decades. It is now expected to take another big leap with the addition of nearly 80 upcoming new airports in India in the coming five years. 

While there were just 74 airports eight years ago, the number has almost doubled to the current 141. And this is likely to only increase to 220 in the next four to five years. They should also meet certain set conditions before flight operations begin at these aerodromes.
