Jaipur

The local tourism office arranges an event that has traditional Rajasthani folk music, dance performances and playing with ‘gulal’ in a civilized manner.  This takes place at the old but iconic Khasa Kothi Hotel. Here the idols of Lord Krishna and Radha at the Govind Devji Temple are heaped with fresh marigold flowers while people sing bhajans.

Mumbai

Mumbai is a metropolis and is known as the best place to celebrate Holi in India. Bonfires are lit all throughout the night during Holika Dahan and people gather to mark the occasion. The next day, the residents and roads of this dynamic city are painted in different hues of colors. From gala parties by the celebrities to the small festivities at the society, the city celebrates this day on different levels but with equal excitement.
