Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has announced a major expansion of its membership program, rolling out a subscription-style pass at six additional parks starting June 8, 2026. Instead of only one-time tickets, the company is moving toward more flexible options like subscriptions or monthly or yearly passes that you pay for regularly.
Expansion to Six New Park Groups
The membership program is being introduced for the first time at six major park pairs and destinations. Each location combines an amusement park and, where available, a water park, so guests can access both under a single membership plan. The participating locations include:
- Carowinds & Carolina Harbor in North Carolina
- Kings Dominion & Soak City in Virginia
- Kings Island & Soak City in Ohio
- Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Pennsylvania
- Knott’s Berry Farm & Knott’s Soak City in California
- Schlitterbahn New Braunfels in Texas
This setup lets members enjoy both types of parks at the same destination under a single membership plan.
Regional Structure for Access
A key feature of the program is its regional access system. The parks are divided into four membership regions: East, Midwest, Texas, and West. Gold Memberships allow entry only within a guest’s designated region, while Prestige Memberships provide access across all Six Flags parks system-wide. This structure defines how far guests can travel within the network under each plan tier.
Subscription Model and 12-Month Commitment
Unlike traditional season passes, the new Memberships operate on a subscription basis with monthly payments after an initial fee. Each Membership runs on a rolling 12-month cycle and continues automatically if kept active. This model is designed to reduce upfront costs while encouraging longer-term engagement with the parks. It also allows guests to join mid-year without losing value tied to a fixed seasonal calendar.

Memberships come with several added benefits beyond just park entry. Some of the key benefits include:
