Air India is one of the best airlines when flying between the USA and India. In order to further boost connectivity between these two great countries, the airline also keeps upgrading its fleet. Air India recently welcomed a brand new Airbus A320neo aircraft in Delhi. And now six new Air India Boeing 777 aircraft will be deployed for flights to Mumbai from USA.
If you are traveling on the Mumbai-New York JFK, Mumbai-Newark, and the BOM-SFO route, soon you’ll be able to make use of the excellent Boeing 777 facilities. The airline also offers two daily flights between London and Mumbai. Boeing 777 Aircraft Enhancing Air India Fleet on the USA-India Route
The state-of-the-art new Air India Boeing 777-300ER aircraft offer a comfortable journey on the nonstop flights from India to USA and vice versa. As the airline is adding these long-range wide body jets to the existing Air India fleet, passengers traveling on the USA-India route can have an enhanced experience. Some of the Boeing 777 facilities include spacious cabin, high-speed WiFi connectivity, unlimited in-flight entertainment, a premium economy class cabin and a lot more.
The new Air India Boeing 777 aircraft are also upgraded with first-class cabins. The B777-300ER jet flying between Newark and London features 40 business class seats, 280 economy class seats and 8 first class seats. Apart from this, the Boeing 777-200LR jet deployed on the Mumbai-San Francisco and BOM-JFK route can seat up to 212 passengers in economy class, 48 in premium economy, and 28 in business class.
As Air India is upgrading its fleet with new aircraft, you might soon have more options when flying from USA to India. Passengers are also assured a seamless trip until the flight reaches its destination with Air India manage booking.
