IndiGo’s Mega Order

There is already an impressive backlog of 477 IndiGo Airbus A320neo family jets. Adding another 500 planes to their fleet would bring their total order count from the European manufacturer to nearly 1,000 aircraft. This unprecedented order will secure IndiGo’s place in history as the airline with the largest single order for a particular aircraft type.
Widebody Aircraft Discussions
In addition to the Indigo A320 neo order, it has engaged in discussions with both Airbus and Boeing regarding a potential widebody aircraft order of approximately 25 planes. IndiGo is considering Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner, while talks with Airbus revolve around the Airbus A330.
While it remains uncertain whether this widebody order will materialize during the Paris Air Show, insiders hint that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner may be the favored choice in this competition.
