In reply to indianeagle. I am considering going SFO to Delhi on United and then on to Bombay. That is the routing offered by United. I have to get a PCR test no more than 72 hr prior, but upon landing in Delhi I would go through immigration. Would I then require another PCR test to go to Mumbai because of the 48 hr domestic rule? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to Karthik Sama. Hi Karthik! If you are an Indian national, you cannot travel to the US via Germany due to restriction placed by the US. Only US citizens (without OCI/PIO card) and their spouses with a valid US visa can travel on Lufthansa from India to US. However, Indian nationals can fly on Lufthansa from US to India via Germany.

Hi, can we travel from India to US if my ticket is by United airlines but flight operated by Lufthansa? It transits via Frankfurt, Germany. Same question for US to India, is it okay to travel in Lufthansa via Germany. Looking forward for your advise.

In reply to Rohini. Hi Rohini! All flights between the USA and India via any country are bubble flights till March 31, 2021. Today, the government of India extended the suspension of regular/normal international passenger flights till March 31, 2021.

I need your help .. can I travel from Atlanta ( transit through Paris ) n Paris to delhi on Air France on 22 March ? I am an indian passport holder. This is not a bubble flight , correct ?

Also I plan to travel back Del to Paris to Atlanta on Air France in May .. is this ok ?

In reply to T V SUNDARAM. Hi Sundaram! If the itinerary has Qatar Airways' direct flight from Los Angeles to Doha and then to Chennai, then the luggage check-in will be done only once at LAX Airport. If the itinerary includes a domestic flight in the USA, luggage check-in will be done twice.

Anyone had experience in travelling from Los Angeles to Chennai under by Quatar Airways under the present Bubble arrangement. I also want to know whether luggage’s checking in had to be done more than once en route.
