In reply to Lekha Nagarajnam. Hi Lekha! Air Suvidha registration within 72 hours before taking the international flight from Washington Dulles is mandatory. If he is fully vaccinated, he must upload a copy of his vaccine card/certificate on Air Suvidha and fill out a self-declaration form on Air Suvidha. He should also carry the original vaccine card and a few color printouts of the filled form that he would receive in PDF format to his email inbox.

Hello, my husband (having US passport) is flying from Washington Dulles ->Delhi ->Trivandrum this week on AirIndia. What are the formalities that need to be completed? Does he need to register in Air Suvidha? Anything else that need to be done?

If the travel restrictions placed by the US are still in place, then B1/B2 visa holders will be able to travel if their spouse is a US-citizen or legal permanent resident, or if they are a parent or sibling of a US-citizen or legal permanent resident under the age of 21 and unmarried.
