Hello Sir! One application is sufficient. There is no harm in applying for NIE approval.

Both of us have valid B visa with my validity as 1 st Nov. 21 and Rekha validity for another 9 years. Both of us have travelled to US several times at least 20 in my case and 12 in her case. My only son is a US citizen for 20 years with his wife also as US citizen. Our grand daughters aged 8 and 10 need to be looked after by us at least temporarily for about 4 months and we need to travel to US for same as NIE allows for approval if it is meant for to look after a permanent US citizen . Pl advice if we can applay and if yes it should be 2 seperate applications or one is sufficient for both of us.
Regds

Hi Venkateswari! You don’t need another NIE approval. No worries!

I applied for NIE while I was in USA( I did mention about my presence in the US in the email). I got the NIE approved and then travelled to india and currently in india. Am I good to return back to US with this NIE APPROVAL ?
Should I re- apply another NIE STating that I am currently in india ? Please help.
