Hi, my sister is traveling to India and will be carrying her personal laptop along with a brand-new, sealed laptop worth around $3,000. Is she allowed to bring both laptops with her, or will she have to pay customs duty or taxes on the second laptop?

In reply to Jithu. Hi Jithu! Will you carry all these electronic items with you on the same flight? Or, those will be separately shipped to India? It is recommended that you take pictures of those devices in use at your current residence in the US before packing them for shipping.

I’m moving back to India from USA permanently, and I’m planning to ship my 4 ft soundbar, subwoofer, a medium Marshall, ps-4, projector and a robo vacuum through Jio worldwide. I’m just concerned about the custom fees as I dont have receipts for any of those that I’m shipping. And they’re all old and I’ve been in USA for 5 years. Any suggestions please

Hi, my friend is coming over to Kolkata from USA later this year and I wanted him to bring a macbook air m3 and an iphone pro unlocked with watch and airpods. Is this possible to bring without having to pay custom tax or import tax? I would be bringing it unboxed obviously. Do I have to declare them? Or can it be shown as personal item and be brought here?
