Hi Mini! You can call our customer service helpline or the airline to check the procedure to book an extra seat for extra space on board.

My question is, if total combined dimensions are 107 inches, that means each piece should not exceed 53.5 inches (107/2). Each piece 62 inches means both pieces combined will be 124 inches (62+62=124in). but why then it says each piece should not exceed 62 inches?

Hi Megha! Only your physician can certify whether you are safe to travel, and it also depends on an airline’s travel policy for the expecting women travelers.

Hi Madhavi! It’s difficult to give you a definite answer. If the domestic flight is booked with the international leg in the same itinerary, the domestic airline obeys the international airline’s baggage policy. If the domestic flight is booked differently and has a different PNR, the domestic airline may not allow to check in two bags for free. If you have booked your travel through Indian Eagle, kindly contact our helpline. Our travel advisors will help you out.

Hi Bala! As per the information available on the Air India website, you can carry one piece of overhead cabin luggage/hand luggage and a person item like a laptop/a lady’s handbag/a blanket/a camera/an overcoat on the international leg. However, the personal item is subject to security regulations. Hence, it is recommended you should check the baggage allowance with the airline.
