The airline had temporarily suspended 6 of its 47 weekly flights to the USA due to staff shortages. Out of the flights that were under suspension three each were to Newark and <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/tds.indianeagle.com\/air-india-to-resume-san-francisco-bengaluru-direct-flights\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">San Francisco<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. But as the crew shortage situation is \u201cprogressively easing\u201d, it&#8217;s reinstating these flights.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three flights are already reinstated and Air India is set to reintroduce three more weekly US flights by the end of June. The decision to reinstate the flights comes as the airline has been able to hire more crew members and improve its operational efficiency. The Tata Group-owned airline under the new management has been leaving no stone unturned to provide customers with excellent service.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How will it affect the passengers?\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This reinstatement of Air India flights will be a welcome relief for passengers traveling between India and the US. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Air_India\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Air India<\/a> is also the only Indian airline that offers direct flights to these two cities.
