According to reports, he completed the qualification in approximately one year. ACCA is a globally recognized professional accountancy qualification.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guinness uses the title \u201cYoungest chartered accountant (male),\u201d while some media reports describe him as the youngest Chartered Accountant in the world. This distinction is worth explaining because ACCA is a professional accountancy qualification and is different from India&#8217;s ICAI Chartered Accountancy qualification.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACCA&#8217;s own published list of new members also includes Lakshmanan Meyyappan among members who qualified in October 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Career after the world record\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Meyyappan did not stop with ACCA. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He later pursued the CFA qualification and became a CFA charterholder.
