Uttar Pradesh government has launched a pilot project in Bulandshahr to facilitate the collection and purchase of cow urine at \u20b910 per litre from farmers and livestock owners. The initiative involves a Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO), and the collected cow urine is expected to be used as a raw material for agricultural products. The broader objective is to encourage natural farming and provide an additional source of income for livestock owners.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where has the project started?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The pilot is being implemented in the Narsena area of Syana tehsil in Bulandshahr. An FPO associated with the initiative is coordinating the collection process. The project currently covers 15 villages, with cow-urine collection centres operating in the area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
