American Airlines is celebrating the FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 with a first-of-its-kind sports-themed aircraft livery. In partnership with Qatar Airways, the airline is highlighting its role as the Official North American Airline Supplier of the tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Boeing 737-800 featuring the new livery entered service on February 15. In addition, more than 1,460 aircraft across American\u2019s fleet feature a FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 decal, showing the airline\u2019s broad support for the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miami Kickoff Event<\/b><\/h3>\n

On April 2, American Airlines hosted a launch celebration at its Miami hub. The hangar was transformed into a football-themed experience. Guests enjoyed food and drinks inspired by Miami\u2019s culture. They also saw appearances by the FIFA World Cup 2026\u2122 Official Mascots and heard remarks from football icons Thierry Henry and Tim Howard. American Airlines is offering special fan experiences, community engagement, and exclusive opportunities for AAdvantage\u00ae members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nationwide Celebrations<\/b><\/h3>\n

American Airlines plans to continue celebrations across 16 host cities in North America. Activities will include airport activations, fan experiences, and surprise \u201cdelight moments\u201d for travelers. These events are designed to engage fans of all ages and create memorable connections with the spirit of the World Cup. The airline aims to bring the excitement of the World Cup to fans both at the stadium and in everyday travel.<\/span><\/p>\n

AAdvantage\u00ae Members Can Redeem Miles for Tickets<\/b><\/h3>\n

American Airlines is offering AAdvantage\u00ae members one last chance to use miles for FIFA World Cup 26\u2122 match tickets. Members can access tickets to all 104 matches, with earlier access for higher-tier members.<\/span><\/p>\n
