Virgin Atlantic has introduced its new Autumn/Winter 2026 food and drink menu for passengers flying on services departing from the UK. The Virgin Atlantic winter menu 2026 became available on November 4 and brings new meals, desserts, snacks, and drinks to passengers. Travellers in Upper Class, Premium, and Economy can try different dishes during their journey. The airline has also brought back some popular meals that passengers already enjoy.

What’s New on the Virgin Atlantic Winter Menu 2026?

The new Virgin Atlantic inflight meals include warm dishes, sweet treats, and food inspired by different countries. The airline has added more choices for passengers travelling on long flights. From chicken and pasta to seafood and desserts, each cabin has something new to offer. Virgin Atlantic has also updated its Mile High Tea and added new drinks to the menu.

New Food Options in Virgin Atlantic Upper Class

Passengers flying in Virgin Atlantic Upper Class can enjoy several new dishes this winter. The menu includes duck ragù with gnocchi, beef short ribs with boulangère potatoes, wilted kale, carrots and peppercorn sauce, and chicken Milanese with caper cream and olive oil mash. Travellers can also choose miso salmon with rice and kale.

The popular buttermilk chicken burger is still on the menu. It comes in a brioche bun with pickles, sriracha ketchup, pepperjack cheese and crispy slaw, served with Cajun-seasoned potato wedges. For dessert, passengers can enjoy Sir Richard Branson’s sticky toffee pudding with cream. The airline has also added a citrus mince pie layer slice for the winter season. These dishes give Upper Class passengers a mix of new meals and familiar favourites.

Virgin Atlantic Mile High Tea Gets a New Dessert

One of the most interesting changes to the Virgin Atlantic Mile High Tea is a new dessert shaped like Orville. Orville is one of the airline’s well-known salt and pepper pot characters. The airline has now turned the character into an edible Black Forest dessert. Upper Class passengers can enjoy it along with Earl Grey cheesecake and a warm scone served with clotted cream and jam.

The airline has also changed the savoury food served with tea. Instead of the usual finger sandwiches, passengers can try a Caprese sea salt focaccia roll and an open seeded baguette with beetroot houmous, fig and feta.

What’s New in Virgin Atlantic Premium?

The Virgin Atlantic Premium menu also has some new meals for winter. Passengers can try grilled chicken with cashew satay sauce, coconut rice, and steamed green beans. Another choice is dill-roasted salmon with smashed minted peas, crushed parsley potatoes, and lemon butter sauce. The airline has also brought back truffle macaroni cheese with wild mushrooms and a garlic crumb.

For a small snack between meals, passengers can enjoy Joe & Seph’s milk chocolate bars and Cartwright & Butler biscuits.

Virgin Atlantic Economy Class Gets Bigger Meals

There is good news for passengers flying in Economy. Virgin Atlantic has increased the size of its main meal portions. The new Virgin Atlantic Economy meals include chicken and woodland mushrooms in a creamy sauce, served with mashed potatoes and greens. Passengers can also choose roasted tomato and basil conchiglie pasta with baby mozzarella.

The airline has also updated its Economy Mile High Tea. Travellers will get a new sandwich option and branded jam. These changes give Economy passengers more food to enjoy during their flights.

Special Meals on Caribbean and Asian Routes

Virgin Atlantic has also added food inspired by some of the places it flies to. On Caribbean routes, Upper Class passengers can enjoy jerk chicken with spiced tomato and pepper rice. The airline has introduced more Caribbean-inspired meals across all cabins on these routes. Passengers flying to Seoul and Phuket can try Kin Dum mango sticky rice flower bites and sriracha rice chips between meals.

These snacks bring a little taste of the destination into the flight.

New Drinks on Virgin Atlantic Flights

The Virgin Atlantic drinks menu has a few new additions this winter. Angel’s Envy bourbon is now available across all cabins and routes. Upper Class passengers flying on Caribbean routes can also enjoy MOTH Piña Colada. For passengers who prefer drinks without alcohol, the airline has added DotDot’s sparkling lychee and rose bubble tea on flights to Phuket, the Maldives and Seoul.

Other choices include the returning Pentire Paloma, Twinings’ Refresh Sparkling Tea and Unrooted Super Greens shots. Upper Class passengers can also try British drinks such as Chapel Down Chardonnay, Camden Hells beer, Gravity Theory sparkling cider and Burnt Faith British Brandy.

New Seasonal Food at Heathrow Clubhouse

Virgin Atlantic has updated the food menu at its London Heathrow Clubhouse too. Passengers visiting the lounge can try French onion soup with cheese, Thai vegetable Massaman curry, and Korean fried chicken bao. Those looking for a lighter meal can choose chargrilled chicken with ancient grains, roast squash, avocado yoghurt dressing and pickled vegetables.

For dessert, the lounge offers spiced apple and pear crumble with custard or chocolate tart with orange crème fraîche and candied cocoa nibs. The Clubhouse serves these meals à la carte, directly to passengers at their tables.

The Virgin Atlantic winter menu 2026 brings new meals, seasonal desserts and additional food choices for passengers in every cabin. If you’re planning a trip abroad, check Indian Eagle deals to compare fares and find affordable flights to the USA.
