How to Search for Unclaimed Bank Deposits on UDGAM Portal 

Follow these simple steps to find unclaimed money in banks: 

Visit the UDGAM Portal:

Go to the official UDGAM website and register using your mobile number for OTP verification.

Enter Personal Details:

Provide accurate information such as:

• Full name of account holder
• Date of birth
• Registered mobile number

Search Across Multiple Banks:

The system will automatically scan participating banks to find any matching unclaimed deposits or dormant bank accounts.

Check Search Results:

If any match is found, you will see:

• Bank name
• Partial account details
• Type of account (savings, FD, RD, etc.)

How to Claim Dormant Bank Deposits 

Once you find a forgotten deposit, follow these steps to claim it:

• Visit the concerned bank branch
• Submit valid identity proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.)
• Provide relationship proof (if claiming on behalf of a deceased account holder)
• Fill out the bank’s claim application form
• Complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process

After successful verification, the bank will release the funds or dormant account balance to the rightful claimant.
