Classic spiritual centers are also experiencing high footfall. Cities like Varanasi, Haridwar, Amritsar, and Puri are attracting large numbers of young visitors. During New Year 2026, over five lakh devotees visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in a single day. Crowd levels reached record highs.

The spiritual importance of Ayodhya has grown significantly in recent years. The presence of the Ram Mandir has increased pilgrim footfall from across India. At the same time, the Jagannath Temple has also seen record-level crowds. Youth participation in these visits is rising steadily.
