Southwest Airlines has announced 25 new and returning routes as part of its Spring 2027 schedule update. The expansion includes 22 domestic routes and three international routes, giving travelers more nonstop options across the United States, the Caribbean, and Central America.

The Southwest Airlines schedule also includes three international additions beginning on March 13, 2027, further expanding its network of Southwest new nonstop routes.

Austin – San José, Costa Rica

Southwest Airlines will launch the first-ever nonstop flight between Austin and San José, Costa Rica. The service will operate every Saturday using a Boeing 737 MAX 8. The flight will depart Austin at 10:25 AM and return at 7:20 PM.

Booking data indicated that Austin was the fourth-largest unserved US market for San José, Costa Rica.

Nashville – Aruba

The airline will also introduce Saturday-only flights between Nashville and Aruba. This route has never been served nonstop by any airline.

Columbus – Punta Cana
