Transatlantic Rising Stars Film Series at the Hirshhorn Museum 

The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, in partnership with the European Union Delegation to the United States, is hosting the Transatlantic Rising Stars Film Series.

About the Project

The Transatlantic Rising Stars Project (TRSP) is a three-year European Union initiative that connects emerging European filmmakers, musicians, and visual artists with American artists, institutions, and communities. The film strand brings acclaimed EU directors to the U.S. for industry exchanges, with their latest films showcased during this special screening series.

Films Being Screened

The marathon features five feature films by acclaimed European directors:

1. DJ Ahmet (North Macedonia)
2. Sleepless City (Ciudad sin sueño) – Spain
3. Xoftex – Greece
4. Toxic – Lithuania
5. The Botanist – Romania

Most films are presented in their original languages with English subtitles.

“Apollo 13” at The Wharf 

The Wharf’s popular Sunset Cinema series continues with the Oscar-winning space drama Apollo 13.
