British Airways aims to enhance travel experience to one of the most popular destinations. In order to make long-haul travel seamless for passengers, British Airways has opened a new lounge in Miami Airport. This is part of the airline’s global transformation program worth a whopping £7 billion. 

British Airways also opened a lounge at the Dubai Airport. The new British Airways lounges at Miami Airport and DXB have been created in partnership with the global design firm Gensler. Each space reflects the character of its city while maintaining the airline’s signature look. 

British Airways Lounge in Miami Airport

The British Airways lounge at Miami International Airport covers approximately 13,000 sq ft. This is the largest British Airways lounge outside London. It is located in Terminal E at Miami Airport. The design draws inspiration from Miami’s Art Deco heritage, with clean lines, soft colors, and elegant lighting. The space includes panoramic windows that offer wide views of the runway and skyline. British Airways passengers can enjoy light meals, fresh salads, and local seafood before boarding their flights.

The lounge also includes a full-service bar at the center. Guests can enjoy cocktails, premium wines, and freshly brewed coffee. Private work pods, quiet zones, and shower suites make the experience comfortable for long-haul passengers. British Airways First Class passengers can access the exclusive Concorde Bar and Dining Room. This offers an à la carte menu and curated wine selection.

About British Airways Dubai Airport Lounge

Dubai’s lounge spans around 5,800 sq ft in Terminal 1. It features British design combined with regional architectural elements like arches, geometric patterns, and gold accents. The ambiance is calm and modern letting British Airways passengers relax, work, or enjoy a meal before their flight.

Who can access the new British Airways lounges?

Access is available for British Airways First and Club World passengers, Executive Club Silver and Gold members, and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members. The airline plans to bring this new design concept to other lounges in cities such as Seattle, Washington Dulles, and London Gatwick.
