International passengers flying to India must now complete the Air Suvidha 2.0 form before arrival. The Ministry of Civil Aviation, together with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), has introduced the upgraded digital portal to improve health screening at international airports.

The new system is completely contactless and has become mandatory for all international arrivals. The move comes as authorities strengthen health surveillance following the World Health Organization’s declaration of an Ebola/Bundibugyo virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda.

If you are travelling to India, here is everything you need to know about completing the Air Suvidha 2.0 process.

Keep These Details Ready Before You Start

Before opening the portal, make sure you have the following information available:

  • Passport
  • Flight details
  • Residential address in India or overseas
  • Valid email ID
  • Mobile number

Having these details ready will help you complete the form without interruptions.

Fill in Your Personal and Travel Information

The first section asks for your basic travel details. You need to provide your passport information and nationality. You must also declare your travel history for the last 21 days. This includes visits to any Ebola-affected countries, if applicable. Next, enter your flight number, your first airport of arrival in India, and details of any countries where you had a transit stop. Ensure every detail matches your travel documents.

Enter Contact Information and Complete Verification

The next step is to provide your contact details. Enter your address in India if you are staying in the country. Overseas passengers should provide their foreign address where applicable. You will also need to enter your email address and mobile number. The system will send a one-time password (OTP) to verify your contact information before you can continue.

Complete the Health Declaration, If Required

Not every passenger will see this section. The health declaration appears only if you report travel to or exposure in Ebola-affected countries during the previous 21 days. If it appears, answer all health-related questions honestly. You may be asked to declare symptoms or provide additional medical information. Incorrect information could delay your arrival process.

Confirm Your Declaration and Submit the Form

Before submitting, review every detail carefully. Read the declaration and consent statement. Confirm that the information provided is correct and complete. You will also need to agree to the processing of your personal and health information. After checking the confirmation box, submit the form.

What Happens After Submission?

Once your Air Suvidha 2.0 form is successfully submitted, you will receive:

  • A registration number
  • An acknowledgement receipt
  • A confirmation email

Passengers should keep the acknowledgement safely. It can be carried digitally or as a printed copy. Airport authorities may ask you to present it after landing in India. If your declaration requires additional attention, an Airport Port Health Officer (APHO) may conduct further health screening before you exit the airport.

Important Points to Remember

  • Complete the Air Suvidha 2.0 form before arriving in India.
  • Enter information exactly as it appears on your travel documents.
  • Carry the acknowledgement for verification at the airport.
  • Be prepared for additional health screening if your declaration requires it.

The Air Suvidha 2.0 portal speeds up health declarations, ensuring smoother airport entry and stronger disease monitoring at India’s international airports.
