Air France has opened its new lounge at Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3. The lounge gives eligible premium passengers a comfortable place to relax, dine or work before their flight or during a connection. It opened on September 1, 2026, and operates daily from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

Where Is the New Air France Lounge Located?

The Air France lounge is located in Frankfurt Airport’s new Terminal 3. The bright space covers nearly 500 square metres. Its design uses Air France’s signature blue, white and red colours. The airline designed the lounge to reflect French hospitality and style.

Dining and French Hospitality at the Lounge

The dining area is the centre of the new lounge and can seat around 50 guests. It includes an open kitchen and serves French-inspired food throughout the day. Passengers can choose from:

  • Sweet and savoury dishes
  • Vegetarian options
  • French wines and Champagne
  • Locally brewed beers
  • Non-alcoholic drinks

Air France will also use seasonal, locally sourced ingredients where possible and work to reduce food waste.

Passengers can also use comfortable seating areas, complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets and a soundproof booth for work calls.

Who Can Access the Air France Lounge at Frankfurt?

Eligible travellers who can access the lounge include:

  • Air France Business Class passengers
  • KLM premium passengers who meet eligibility rules
  • Flying Blue Elite Plus members
  • Eligible SkyTeam alliance passengers

Passengers travelling on an Air France Business Light fare cannot use the lounge. Travellers should check their ticket and loyalty status before arriving at Frankfurt Airport.

Exclusive Area for Flying Blue Ultimate Members

Flying Blue Ultimate members receive access to a separate private area inside the lounge. This section offers cocoon-style seating and a quieter setting while keeping all main lounge services close by.

Why the New Frankfurt Lounge Matters

Frankfurt is an important European airport for international connections. During the summer season, Air France offers up to five daily services from Frankfurt to Paris Charles de Gaulle, linking travellers to its worldwide network.

The new Air France lounge at Frankfurt Airport gives eligible premium travellers a more comfortable experience before departure or during a connection. With dining, quiet seating and work facilities, it can make international travel through Frankfurt smoother.
