Congress can allocate more resources to the NTSB to reduce general aviation accidents if it wasn’t so unconcerned. If a congressman daughter crashed and the other plane was heard in a place that suggested it was coming on the runway simultaneously and it wasn’t even reported, they would have investigated! Even changed the laws so that courts can investigate the NTSB! If this is true, it certainly is a good idea to lobby congress for changes! Many lives in general aviation can be saved.
