what about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose? why isn’t he mentioned here? He was the one of the great freedom fighters and who actually succeeded in giving India freedom. I’m so shocked to know the fact that Bose is a forgotten hero. His identity and struggle should not be buried into the golden page of India’s history of Independence. It was Bose who gave us freedom not Gandhi or J.L Nehru. Even the prime minister of Britain at that time MR. Clement Attlee claimed that “The activities of Azad Hind Fauj and Netaji brought independence to this country”. When he was asked about Gandhi’s contribution in India’s Independence he smiled sarcastically and said only the word “Minimal”
Even after the disappearance of Netaji in 1942, he was there in the hearts of Indians and his motivation and influence made people of India fight against the Britishers and free the nation. He should be given all the respect and the title FATHER OF NATION, as he was the one to freed Andaman and Nicobar island with his Azad Hind Fauj even before the independence of India, also he was the first President of Andaman while hosting the flag of India on that free land for the first time. His stories and fight of real struggle in giving Independence should be known to all people of this nation.

He started his Journey as a Freedom Fighter in 1942 from Madhuwapur, a Village in Madhubani District. He fought against the wrong doing of British and their armies. He was sent to imprisonment for the same. While fighting he also had got injured with bullets fired on him and his Friends. He was awarded with Bronze Letter Pad (Tamrapatra) from the hand of Lt. Indira Gandhi Ji. His name is still remembered and as an honor and his name is written in Block Letters in Village Block Marble Silalekh. He will always remain in our heart.
