We have valid Canada visitor visa and plan to visit our son who is Canadian cityzen.we want to travel by Lufthansa Airlines from India with 1 stop of 6 hrs 30 mns Layover at Munich for connecting flight to Canada and on return also by Lufthansa Airlines with 1 stop of 2hrs 45 mns Layover at Munich for connecting flight to India.Do we need Airport transit visa ?

Hello,
We have a round trip itinerary from Phoenix to Hyderabad with a stopover in Frankfurt and we are holding a stamped H1b Visa and H4 visa.
One way from Phx to Hyd is Lufthansa and while on return it is Lufthansa and United Airlines to US.
Do we need a transit visa for either of the trip?

In reply to Ashutosh Jain. Hi Ashutosh! In our knowledge, transit between two Schengen airports in an international itinerary requires a short Schengen Visa even though you have valid US visas.

In reply to Ajay. Hi Ajay! Two Schengen layovers in your itinerary require you to have a regular Schengen visa for hassle-free transit and travel. By the way, it is recommended that you do also check with the airline and the German Embassy in India.

Im travelling to US. My flight is from Mumbai to Munich. Connected flight with 1.45 hr layover to Frankfurt and from Frankfurt to Philadelphia with 4.35 hr layover in Frankfurt. All flights are of Luftansa Airlines.
Do i need a transit visa
If so where to apply
