Hi Ajay! Two Schengen layovers in your itinerary require you to have a regular Schengen visa for hassle-free transit and travel. By the way, it is recommended that you do also check with the airline and the German Embassy in India.

Im travelling to US. My flight is from Mumbai to Munich. Connected flight with 1.45 hr layover to Frankfurt and from Frankfurt to Philadelphia with 4.35 hr layover in Frankfurt. All flights are of Luftansa Airlines.
Do i need a transit visa
If so where to apply

Hi Peeyush! If there only one Schengen layover in your parents’ itinerary, they don’t need a transit visa while traveling with Swiss Air.

Hi Susmita! Valid B1/B2 visa holders don’t need a transit visa for one Schengen layover if they stay within the airport transit area (airside) during the layover.
