Hi Nitesh! They must fill out the US government’s attestation form and hand over it to the airline during boarding.

My Family is willing to travel on 16th March, 2022 from BOM-DOH-JFK with return tickets. They are B1/B2 (tourists) visa holders with already fully vaccinated (covishield and covaccine).
I wanted to check what all documents are required apart from negative covid test 24 prior to the travel.

Thanks in advance!

One more question: In Air India, I am not able to find flights to all the way to STL. Is there any reason? Do you think this will be available post 31st Jan when India will lift the ban/restrictions.

Hi Ketan! Air Suvidha portal is for those traveling from the US to India, not from India to the US. The test you will take for travel to the US will also work for transit in the UAE or Qatar. If the Vadodara Medical facility is approved by ICMR and if they issue test reports with a QR code, the report will be accepted by both the UAE and the US. There is neither quarantine nor in the UAE for international transit travelers.

1. USA demands 1 day prior negative covid report. I might need to upload that to air suvidha portal. That satisfies USA requirement. Now as they will be transit from UAE, what additional documents or test or proof they need to carry when they land either in DOHA, ABU DHABI or QATAR as I know they also have some transit requirement.

2. Can you please send me authorized web links to tell that they dont need to quarantine 15 days in UAE and also with list of what additional docs they need to be ready?

3. Will US allow or consider negative COVID RT-PCR test taken at Vadodara medical facility? Also will it be considered at UAE too? Do they need additional testing at UAE transit?

Hi Ketan! Air India is not the only option. B2 visa holders from India can travel on Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Delta Airlines, American Airlines. No additional test during layover at Dubai or Doha Airport. Please be advised to check the itineraries and fare deals on our easy-to-use portal IndianEagle.com or call our travel advisors at 01-800-615-396 for the best itinerary for your parents’ hassle-free travel. Thank you!

My parents willing to travel around 25-Feb-21 from Vadodara to Chicago with return tickets. They are B2 (tourists) visa holders with already fully vaccinated (covishield). My question is: Is Air India an only option?

Can they travel through either Emirates or QATAR (preferred). I can have their COVID report prior to departure from Vadodara but do they need any extra processing (like quarantine, antibody test, another COVID negative reports) at DOHA or DUBAI location. Please note, they are traveling to USA and dont have any plan to go out of DOHA or DUBAI airports.

I am trying to find better option to fly than Air India which is a pathetic airline. Thanks for your help.

Hi Uma! Unfortunately, the restriction is still in place. British Airways does still not onboard Indian passport holders (unless their spouse is a US citizen) from India if their destination is beyond the UK. Please be advised to prefer any other airline. You can travel on Delta Airlines via London on both ways – onward and return. FYI, we have the best deals from our partner airlines. You can reach us on the toll-free 1-800-615-3969, through chat support on IndianEagle.com, or via help@indianeagle.com. Thank you!

I (USA Permanent resident with India passport) am flying from usa to india in British airways via London with my minor child(USA citizen with OCI card) on Dec 10 and returning from India to USA via British Airways via London on Jan 10.
Are there any restrictions that would prevent me from accompanying my child?
Back in August 2021, we heard from a friend that spouse has to be a USA citizen ( in our case my and my husband are green card holders). Is it still the case? ( British airways does not commit to anything in writing)
Has anyone travelled from India to USA via London where neither wife nor husband are not usa citizens?
please advise
